I've been doing a lot of research for additional sources on the research paper and have come across some very interesting reports conducted on police brutality on the U.S. Dept of Justice and National Institute of Justice websites. One of the reports will be very helpful with my paper as it discusses how to prevent police brutality.
I am very excited to be starting this project since it is a subject that I find very interesting. I am still in the research gathering phase of this project but hope to be able to start the paper this weekend once I have completed my argument paper assignment.

Wow, I find it surprising that the U.S. Department of Justice and the National Institute of Justice keep track of police brutality, let alone post the information on their websites! I thought this would be one of those things that the government would prefer to sweep under the carpet.

Thanks Natasha. Unfortunately a lot of the cases go undocumented because people do not report them. I am very excited to start this paper.
